OnePlus on why just 5 years of updates, Phone (2a) render was fake, Week 6 in review

OnePlus explains why it's only promising 5 years of Android updates, not more

Welcome to your week 6 recap. OnePlus defended its coverage of giving its customers 5 years of software program updates (4 years of main OS updates, and 5 years of safety assist) over the 7 years of Samsung and Google. OnePlus is specializing in the standard of the software program and its fluidity over what it deems a promise that misses that time.

A press picture made the rounds this week, supposedly of Nothing’s first midranger, the Telephone (2a). It confirmed a cellphone with out a Glyph interface and an analogous design to the Nothing Telephone (1). It seems the render is not of the Telephone (2a) – Steve H. McFly (aka @OnLeaks) revealed that the render is faux. SmartPrix additional elaborated that the supply of the render is a Nothing smartphone that did not make it out of the strategy planning stage. The ultimate nail within the coffin was a teaser by Nothing itself, which did not match the cellphone within the faux render. Case closed.
